Works with Confrmo

Apps you can use
with your Confrmo identity.

Your Confrmo account is not only for Confrmo. Other apps can ask Confrmo to confirm that a real, verified person is behind an account, and you approve it with the Confrmo app. They get the proof. They do not get your face, your documents or your name.

Live now: Verus

Private messaging, with a real person behind it when it matters.

Verus is an encrypted app for private calls and messages. It starts private: no phone number is needed and your address says nothing about who you are. When a conversation needs more than that, you prove who you are with Confrmo, and the people you talk to can check that a verified person is behind your address.

  • Your address does not change. Confrmo adds a signed claim to it and does not create the account.
  • The claim expires, and you can remove it whenever you like. Your address keeps working privately.
  • Verus receives no name, photo or document. Your email is shared only if you choose it.
  • Nobody can look you up. There is no directory linking Confrmo accounts to Verus addresses.

iPhone: coming soon. The Confrmo app you verify with is already on the App Store and Google Play.

Verus is run by Verus Communications Ltd (company number 17429651), verusapp.co.uk. Confrmo Ltd provides the identity service Verus uses.

Prove who you are on Verus in under a minute.

You need the Verus app and a Confrmo account on your phone.

01

Install Verus

From Google Play or for Mac. You get a private address straight away, with no phone number or email.

02

Go to Profile

Tap Confirm who you are with Confrmo. Verus shows a VCode for this one request, and it expires if you do not use it.

03

Scan with Confrmo

Scan the VCode with the Confrmo app, or tap Open Confrmo on this phone if both are on the same device.

04

Approve

Confrmo checks it is you and Verus adds the signed claim to your address. Your address stays the same.

For developers

Your app could be next on this page.

Verus uses the same Confrmo sign-in any website or app can add. Your users scan a VCode and approve it with their face, and your system gets a signed approval without handling biometrics or documents.
